NaNo Update

I really wanted to crack 20k today, but it looks like it's not going to happen.  The beginning of the next chapter is proving problematic, and I think in part because I really want  that next 600 words on paper.  *sigh*

*sigh*  So close.  Still, things are going very well, indeed.  The characters are coming into their own, saying things I would never have thought to have them say on Day 1, telling me what they will and won't do, and the story is taking shape quite nicely.  I'm seeing how some of the pieces fit into the puzzle in ways I didn't expect.

Oh thank the gods.

I had this sudden horrible feeling that you had been taken over by some pod person who could get up perky and cheerful at 4AM. That, or you had gone on a binge and written all night.

LOL - the second would be much more likely. It would seriously have to be a pod person for me to be cheerful anytime before 8am, and usually, I'm not fully awake until 10:00, not matter how much coffee I've drank or what time I got up.

But no, no binge. More's the pity. I'd be farther along if I had.
